Pushing Leaves Towards the Sun

Now we’re brought together… one big family…
Another leaf has fallen… from our family tree…
We are here to celebrate… the joy that was her life…
And say goodbye to a sister, a mother, and a wife…

But our family tree will stand tall…
It was built on love it just won’t fall…
There are new branches sprouting everyday…
When we lose a leaf it’s not the end…
It just lets more sunshine in…
Our family tree gets stronger in everyway…

Mama used to tell us… to love life everyday…
Take care of each other… love one another… it’s the family way…
But when the good Lord took her… so she could be with Dad again …
